Axiom is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Citizen Eco-Drive watch This watch was purchased several months ago and after an initial repair (very well done) it has worked fine. It is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. I like the prospect of not needing to buy batteries for it -- I do not have access to jewelers that will replace batteries in it or do repairs. Its appearance is excellent. Many people have commented that it is a beautiful watch -- the face seems to be copied from the Movado Museum Watch ("High Noon" design).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Stylish I bought this watch as a Christmas present for myself & this may be the second best decision I've made when it comes to watches in a very long time, every time I wear it I would get compliments about how great it looks on my hand. I even had to give one woman the name of the watch because she wanted one for her boyfriend. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My best watch. I got this for Christmas in 2016, so I’ve been wearing it for over a year. Absolute quality and beauty. Very classy, since it is so pretty yet maintains an elegant simplicity. No gimmicky dials or markings, just the time and date. Perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek look. Solid runner. It keeps going and going. This Citizen axiom has been great. 5+ months no issues. Just set it and forget it. Easy to adjust the band if needed(push pins). Solid clasp. This replaced a 20 year old Citizen battery watch. Very Happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No batteries I'm just a little upset that I have to put my watch in for repairs. It will not keep the date right and the time won't stay right on the face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from There's something about a gold watch. We used to get one when we retired, we wear them for the most formal of occasions. It's not that other colors aren't at home in a formal setting, but something about gold set's it apart. Even if it isn't really gold. This watch evokes the same bauhaus minimalism demonstrated in George Nathan Horwitt's famous Museum watch. A single 12 o'clock indicator, slender stick hands, a black face nearly devoid of all printing. This watch exudes elegance. This is the type of watch you put on when it's time to put on your best attire and need a watch to compliment it. The eco-drive system guarantees that even if you don't wear this watch particularly often, you can easily recharge this watch after taking it out of the case without an inconvenient trip to change the battery. The watch is not particularly rugged with it's 30m water resistance and mineral glass crystal, but then again it's not designed to be worn anywhere where ruggedness is a consideration. I like this watch very much but must admit I like the silver and gray version a bit better for it's versatility. But sometimes you just need a gold watch, and this one fits the bill perfectly. And it won't empty your wallet.

Most likely it's just grey market. A lot of the deep discounts are due tho sellers not being "authorized" and thus not subject to Citizen's pricing controls. The trade off is that the warranty is with the seller, not the manufacturer. Look up who the third party reseller is and you can get a good idea. Citizen's are not particularly expensive to begin with, so not that attractive to counterfeit.
