Chandler is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as durable as the look would suggest I would not recommend any field use for this military inspired watch. Although the look would suggest ruggedness, the durability is sub par. I have had this watch for less than 2 weeks and already have a nice scratch across the crystal face. Meanwhile, I have worn my other watch daily for 10 yrs and the face is still flawless. Love the look, very disappointed in quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Watch I like that you can wear this watch for any activity. Looks great in a pair of jeans and the durable Cordura fabric strap is indicative of the quality you would expect from Citizen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch Strap The watch strap is too short for the average adult male in the USA. Why would Citizen design such a short strap for this watch? I can barely strap on the watch, and I think I have an average size American wrist!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Close but no cigar! I own two Citizen watches! The Skyhawk and the Chandler chronograph watch with the olive green wristband. I love the Skyhawk because I do some flying. I love the options it has and the wristband fits is great. But when I am not flying I wear the Chandler chronograph watch. With the exception of the wistband being a tad to short it’s a great watch. So I set out to get another watch that was military in nature. This watch caught my eye. But after purchasing it and bringing it home it’s not what was expected! Like my other Chandler the wristband is a hair to small. I don’t understand why Citizen makes such small wristbands. They must think that all men are short and small. Also instead of having illumations on every hour it’s just on every quarter hour and there is no back lighting. So if you are the dark I hope you have good vision because you won’t able to tell time unless it’s on the quarter hour. Also the wristband color is very deceiving. On the internet and the catalog the color is portrayed as a desert tan. But actually it’s more of a taupe to a light green.

Can you purchase a longer strap for this watch? Bought this as a gift for my husband, but the band is short --- he'd like a little longer one.

Asked by: clmwaz
The model watch mentioned does not have a longer band available. As our bands are not made to be interchangeable, the only band we have is the original band that come with the watch.

Can this watch display a second time zone or not? Is the lower subdial just a pm/am indicator for the hour shown by the main dial hour hand or can the subdial show a different hour? For example, can the mai dial hour be 3 and the subdial hour be 10?

Asked by: Curious
So... the sub-dial is NOT a true (adjustable) GMT dial but merely a dial for showing military time? That's disappointing. I just decided against buying this watch.
