Tsuno Chrono

Citizen celebrates its centennial by bringing history forward with a reintroduction from its iconic Challenge Timer collection. In late 1972, Citizen conceptualized this automatic Chronograph with a “bullhead” construction. This model later resulted in the launch of the Tsuno Chrono (Japanese “horned chronograph”) in early 1973. This timepiece held core competencies that would later inspire the Promaster collection with focus on the three areas of air, land, and sea. The 2018 model features a hand assembled Calibre 2100 movement and produced in a range of bright color combinations.

The new Tsuno Chronograph Racer includes a hand-assembled movement featuring the brand’s signature Eco-Drive technology. Showcasing a bullhead structure with the crown and chronograph pushers located at the top of a 45MM case, the watch has a 1/5th of a second flyback chronograph, tachymeter, alarm, and date window, complete with a domed sapphire crystal and luminous hands and markers.

The Tsuno Chronograph Racer comes in four styles, two of which will be limited to 1973 pieces, the same number as the originals birth year.
