World Chronograph A-T is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A perfect time piece I purchased this watch for work, some may characterize this use as abuse. It has withstood all I have thrown at it and cleans up nicely. The sapphire crystal has seen rough service and is still in pristine condition. I wouldn't hesitate to wear it as my dress watch. The controls are easy to operate on the go, changing time zones is a snap and it always has the correct time. If you are dependent on an accurate time schedule this is the ultimate set it and forget it watch for you. The band is infinitely adjustable to fit any wrist. Having the time zones in the edge of the face under glass was a selling point for me along with the second hand movement. My other watch has a second hand, but it is only used in the timer function.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent! I bought this on black Friday, and I do not have buyers remorse! It is an excellent timepiece, very scratch resistant so far. I love how I never have to take it off. As a slightly OCD engineer by vocation, I would appreciate it if the watch tick marks and the second hand were exactly aligned. I'm sure no one would notice the misalignment but me - it is minuscule. I really like the chrono feature - it is very easy to use and effective to measure time even down to a fraction of a second (up to 60 minutes).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean and Classic Style I bought my watch about 3 months ago and I love it. It is easily the best watch I've ever owned. I get compliments nearly everyday that I wear it. I love that it is versatile, I can wear it when I'm in a suit or casual wear. The radio control takes away the stress from every worrying that my watch has the wrong time and easily switches time zones whenever I am traveling for business. I would highly recommend this watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch I've really enjoyed this watch. The radio controlled feature is great for keeping the time accurate and the date automatically adjusts each month. No battery is also a great feature with the eco drive. Nice classic look. Everything I was looking for in a watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new Eco drive! I bought my first Eco drive in 2001 to celebrate a job promotion, decided to treat myself to a new one this year to celebrate another major job promotion, even though my old watch still works perfectly. Very pleased with the look, feel, and functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stylish watch When I first saw this watch, I just knew I had to have this one. It looks and feels like a high quality watch you would get from some Swiss Made type watches. The programming of the watch was a pain in the but as I can only move one direction (Forward) to setup the watch and match up the ATOMIC time, took me a while to get it right as the first 3 days I would look at the watch and the time was wrong but after setting going forward only it works well. I want the newer model and cannot see the difference but just want because it is newer. This goes with my other special occasion watches which are my cherished watches and not my beaters. The bracelet feels solid like a Breitling (It's not but feels like it). I reccommend and I also do not because I don't want everyone wearing the same watch I am wearing ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from World Class World Chronograph I am becoming a bit of a Citizen addict, and I may need to check into a 12 step program for it. This is my 5th Citizen. I have 3 Axioms, 1 Paradex with the and now this one. I love the radio synchronization and the fact that the watch actually uses the sweep second hand for both timekeeping and chronograph mode. Once you add the perpetual calendar and Eco Drive system you have the closest thing to a set and forget watch that you can have in an analog form factor. I love the fact that you have a watch that feels right at home in a more formal setting but still has the ruggedness of 100m water resistance and a sapphire crystal. There's only one problem with the watch. legibility. The dial is not black it's more gunmetal, and it is brushed in such a way that it will reflect light back. These reflections interfere with the silver tone hands and make the watch harder to read than it should be. This happens especially with the second hand which all but disappears at times. I wish the dial was flat black like the Axiom line, it would help with the readability a lot. That being said, you can twist the watch at an angle to make the silver stand out more, but it would be better if I didn't have to. One final thing, I love the fact that it has a charge indicator so I can actually see what solar charge I have remaining.. That is a nice feature. I love this watch. It's durability and water resistant actually makes my Paradex redundant. This is a great all around watch and fills all the checkboxes.

What radio signal does it use? Does it correct for summer time?

Asked by: busker dude
It does not use the HF frequencies from WWV. In the US and surrounding areas it uses the 60 kHz signal from WWVB, also in Boulder, CO. Close by frequencies in Germany, Japan and China for areas near them. Works like gangbusters. I've also got an 11 year old AT Blue Angels watch that uses the same signals and it works great (except that it needs to go back to Citizen for a third time to get one of the buttons fixed (again).

Can the strap/band be switched?

Asked by: DJ159
Looking at the pins, it should not be too difficult, especially if you buy one of those tool kits for watches. I borrowed one of those kits from a friend to remove a link from mine to make it a little smaller. They have the perfect tool to remove the pins from the case so you can change the band. However, the pins would obviously be spring loaded so you would need to be careful not to lose them.
