One of my go to pieces! Did not care for the rubber strap so I put on a Bond Zulu Nato strap and wear it just about every day.
Bought this myself and simply a classic look with a touch of blue. Easy to set and adjust. The band is a silicon style which some may not, I had to cut some length off and I would take your time at doing so. The watch is itself is beautiful and very light on the wrist. I love my citizen watches and this makes number 6 in my collection and in the top 4 of those I wear daily.
I have had this watch for 4 years now and it is unbeatable. I am rough on watches, phones, laptops, etc. and this Citizen Eco drive has proven itself to be a great buy. You don't ever have to charge it like smart watches or even worry about a battery. Who needs a smart watch when you got your phone to worry about. I highly recommend this timepiece.
Good every day watch. My only complaint is the band as some have also mentioned. I prefer metal bands and for that reason I don't wear as often as others in my collection. If I could find a metal band to replace, it would be perfect.
4th Citizen and counting!
Just purchased the Weekender. Love the look and style. This is my 4th Citizen watch and owned them for 17 years. Everyone works just as good as the day I got them. Can't beat the Eco-Drive! Was also shocked and impressed that Citizen in Japan makes the entire watch, which tells me quality is vital. Pros: The look, style, function, and fit exceeded my high expectations. Counting on it to last as long as my others. Cons: Although a minor detail for me, the luminous hands/dial are very hard to see at night. If this is very important for you, then this isn't the watch for you.

Absolutely gorgeous watch! So glad I bought it! Keeps time perfectly! I also like the band, but when it wears out I may replace it with a metal band. Would recommend 100 percent!

Brewery Tried and Tested
I am the low man on the totem pole in the brew house that I work in, I work all day every day with chemicals to clean and sanitize kegs, fermenters, parts, etc... And I wear this exact watch every day from the time I get up to the time I go to bed and it has served me well. The only thing that has given out is the wristband, this is to be expected with the chemicals that I handle; they are known to weaken plastics and rubber materials. The crystal dial cover has taken many nicks and scratches from running into kegs and wooden pallets, but it is still water tight and holding strong. I would highly recommend this watch for the man who just wants a watch to wear every day, if it can withstand my everyday duties than I am pretty sure it can withstand yours.
Great looking watch, Eco-Drive is awesome
Love the look of this watch; the blue accents are excellent. Like other Citizen Watches this watch reveals different aspects of its character in changing light. I wanted a sturdy Eco-Drive watch with a rubber strap for work & this was a perfect choice. Eco-Drive is an exceptional feature so you don't have to change the battery. I have other Citizen watches so I know it will last. Very happy with my purchase.
