But it holds up to daily life perfectly and i have received many compliments on it! Citizen has been my watch of choice for almost a decade! Love that they are powered by light!!

It's a very clean and professional looking watch, which I wear predominantly when I am dressing up a bit more than "casual". I was ecstatic to find an alarm on this watch, as I have found it immensely helpful in saving phone battery life while travelling. The programming and setting functions took a little getting used to. I would have accepted 1 more button or knob to make some of the steps a little easier, but a Youtube video clarified everything in one afternoon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now my 'Go-To' watch for any occassion. I bought this watch as a gift to myself for a long deployment overseas. Since I travel, the home and local time zone feature is great. I researched this phone for its price, features, and materials. I wanted a watch that had a classic chronograph face, leather strap, and the Eco-Drive capabilities. I finally decided on this watch because it answered the style and price points that I was seeking. When I first wore the watch, I was amazed at just how well it goes with anything that I wear; a truly every-day-wear watch. I decided to change out the strap for a butterfly clasp rather than stay with the buckle type. It does not detract from the beauty of the watch, but rather adds to its masculine nature. I wear this watch everyday and will continue; after all, it never needs winding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to read display Very nice watch with easy to read display in day and night. Keeps accurate time. Second time zone is nice feature when traveling. Just change setting to new time zone. Alarm is not loud and most likely will not wake you up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like thte features of this watch The dial is easy to read, size of numerals was a big factor in purchase. The perpetual calendar is very nice feature. I have had some trouble learning to set the time, but that is just understanding the instructions better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Watch, but strap can be of better quality Its great watch, don't get me wrong. I loved the look and feel of the watch with such nice looking strap. I used this watch for just 2 months but now the lether strap is showing sing of wear n tear. I wish citizen can improve quality on strap. Over all, its great watch minus lether strap.

The majority of problems I've encountered with timepieces have arisen from changing batteries, and Citizen's Eco-Drive eliminates this problem entirely. The solar watch face is highly efficient at generating the required energy to keep the precision time-keeping powered. The design itself is as classy as it gets for any price-point south of a grand, and the titanium casing is light and strong. This watch leaves nothing to be desired and is worth every penny.

I was wearing it while snorkelling and when I came up , i could see water inside the dials. I used Silica gel to remove the water but now i can see salt deposits and a few dials out of their place. Is there a chance this can be repaired?

I have been using this watch for 3 years. I want to buy the same one for my brother. When I checked on Amazon, they have displayed a 2018 model of this watch- Model BL5551-06L. Is this genuine Citizen watch? I cannot find that model in Citizen Website.

The model watch mentioned is a Citizen watch, however it is a non-US model. This means that it was not manufactured to be sold in the US.
