Chandler is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 127.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the Job Done I bought this because I wanted a simple, everyday watch that would require as little upkeep as possible (solar, water resistant, durable). I didn't hear favorable reviews about the strap so I immediately put it on a NATO and haven't used the original one yet so can't speak for that part. The actual watch has met all my expectations thus far. I do wish it had a bit larger of a face but that's a personal preference. Watch hands glow for the first minute or so they are exposed to darkness but not much beyond that. The second hand doesn't always land right on the tick marks so keep in mind if you're OCD about that. Overall a great watch that I expect to wear for a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for! My wife surprised me with this watch for Christmas, and to be honest, I was really hoping she would get me an apple watch. After wearing this beauty for the past month, I haven't even thought about wanting an apple watch. Weird, I know, but it's the truth. This has style and simplicity that is unmatched. I did end up swapping out the band for a silicone band so I could wear it in the water and not have a soggy band. The stock band is nice, and will probably switch it back and forth depending on the occasion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different! I had read many reviews about this strap and thought, I can change it if I choose. But mine does not have an "odor". Granted I have not worn it in the summer yet. I find it comfortable. It could be a little longer; I have small wrists and am is second hole. The rivets or metal around the holes at first looks cheap, but it is what makes it the type of field watch it is meant to be, rugged and basic. If they offered to replace the band for free I would refuse. It is what makes the watch it was intended to be. Looking at your next few questions am I rating the band or the watch??!! OK I will rates the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Less is more A great watch that does what it needs to do - tell time! The design is simple and classic and one that I know I use for generations. With the Eco-drive, it alleviated my main concern with quartz watches - changing the batteries and keeping the water resistance. Since I don't have to change batteries, that is no longer a worry. It doesn't have some of the high-end features (e.g., sapphire crystal), but for the price, the features and quality are top notch. I consider this a good everyday watch that can be dressed up and down with just a change of the band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good watch for the price I bought this watch on sale on black Friday and got a great price. I couldn't be happier with the watch. It keep great time and the solar function is awesome. The original band is fairly comfortable, especially once it breaks in a little bit. I changed it out for a black band and it made the watch look like a dress watch. It's like having two watches in one. When I want to be active I put on the nylon green strap and go out hiking or exercise and then I can throw on the black strap and wear it to work. Either way it looks good and functions well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go-To watch I've been wearing this for at least 5 years now. It's comfy, slim but thick enough to feel good, easy to read, perfect blend of stand-out and blend-in. I've received so many compliments on this watch, "I don't even wear watches and I like that". It just keeps getting better with age, even after the dives I've taken it on. Timeless piece and never needs batteries!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate I like this watch a lot. I love this watch for its accuracy, simplicity in design and quality. Accuracy: It gained 3.5 seconds in 20 days i.e. if it keeps this accuracy it will be just about 64 sec in 365 days. I plan on setting it about 30 sec behind at the beginning of the year. The seconds hand lines up with the minute markers perfectly every single time. Size: I knew that this was the size i wanted, i have about medium sized hands. The watch is perfect size for me. Band: It is stiff. Because of the placements of the holes, it was either too tight or too loose. I bought a new leather band, which goes very well with it. Luminescence: I wish it was a bit brighter in the night. I highly recommend this watch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great watch for small wrists, but band is not so. Bought the watch because I like a small diameter face and day and date. The band leaves much to be desired. If I saw the band holes in the picture I would not have bought the watch. Because I have a skinny wrist I usually punch my own holes in the band, can't do it with the pre-made wholes you have. You should have shown them in the picture. Watch is fine, band not so.

Is this Chandler field watch for women or men? It's listed in the women's selections but several of the reviews are written by men.

Asked by: Wondering
I suppose it could be for either men or women. The watch face is of a medium size... not too large for a women's wrist while also not too small for a man... it is in the middle. Men's watches have trended larger, but this is not a trendy watch. It is more traditional and classic that remains in style over time (no pun intended).

How long is the Band? I have a big arm

Asked by: Stacy
It's a SMALL band if you have a large wrist. I have to use the last band setting and it's still to tight. It's an 18mm band width and Walmart has genuine leather bands for $12 and I think I'm going with that or a nice Spidel expansion band. Citizen made the bands way, way to small on this watch!
