Promaster Diver is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and suits my needs I bought this a couple months ago and absolutely no problems at all. It serves its daily purpose for an every day watch as well as my free-diving watch. I do not really go diving as often as I'd like and don't do tank diving either so there is no stress on the watch and the watch does what it is purposes to do. Visible under water and over all completely happy with my watch two thumbs way up! Looking back I wish I got a more flashy watch but I made the choice to get it and don't regret it either. I really would love to get another watch maybe the Blue Angels watch next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #Citizenwatchesrock This is probably my 10th Citizen watch I have bought. I love it for its simplicity and bold look. And as always I love the ECO DRIVE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looks, not overdone. Easy to read. I'm an outdoor person, since purchasing I've been white water rafting, diving & hunting. No damage or issues. Very good watch for a reasonable price. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm quite impressed with its fine quality... Had my 1st CITIZEN divers watch in 1985, while a teenager and was extremely fond of it. Now, after years of owning hundreds of various brands/models, I decided to return to my "1st love"! I'm quite impressed with its fine quality and unmatched accuracy. Way to go, CITIZEN, you just made me feel like a joyous teen again! Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from U.S. Army combat diver review (1 yr) I bought this watch a year ago for spearfishing, diving, work, etc. I’m a U.S. Army combat diver and work in Key West FL teaching new combat divers. I’m in the water 2-3 days a week, most of that spent at depths ranging from 10-130 ft. I previously used a casio g-shock as a backup to my dive computer but the timer button would hit my depth gauge and stop the time, extremely frustrating and ineffective for a backup to clock TTD. The only time the g-shock was decent for the task was if it was attached to a navigation board for closed-circuit diving. Enter the citizen promaster diver: I researched various options and ended up narrowing the choice down to this watch or a seiko skx777. I chose the citizen because of the eco drive and quartz mvmt being easier to use/less attention required than an automatic mvmt. I set my promaster time by the time.gov atomic clock and after one year the time has only shifted 2 seconds. Im very happy with the amount of illum as well. Too much illum can ruin night vision of your eyes and can actually be seen on a calm clear water night from the surface as divers approach their target. I like how i can charge up the citizen w a flashlight if need be, but found that illum from normal sun exposure during the day is adequate for night diving. Overall, for all practical purposes, this watch is perfect for all the tasks i require of it. I’ve considered buying a second one just to keep NIB so that i can give it to my son when he grows up in fifteen years because I’m confident mine will still be running and I’m afraid such a fine product will cost big money eventually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just will not quit !! This watch is 15 years old. As you can see the bezel is pretty wore out, the crystal is completely flat. I even bought my own kit to change bands with because the bands will wear out but the watch doesn't....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I was looking for a reliable, waterproof watch for my daughter who is in the Navy. I thought that the Promaster Diver looked like a great choice, so I ordered one using the section of the website dedicated to ladies watches. When I received the watch, I was surprised to find that it is huge, and while the band fit my daughter's wrist, the watch looks far too big, (picture a sundial that Fred Flinstone would wear on his wrist). The watch itself is very nice, however why in the world this large men's watch is listed anywhere as a ladies dive watch is beyond me.

Is the minute hand outlined in orange or red?

Asked by: AJAY
The minute hand is outlined in orange. Quite attractive and stylish, it does call attention to the hand.

What is the size, width of the band? I’d like to replace the OEM band with an aftermarket one. Thank you.

Asked by: JRich
Width: 3/4" @ pin; increases to 7/8" and tapers back to 3/4". Length: 3" to buckle & 5-1/2" on strap side. OEM Band is very comfortable with plenty of adjustment.

How do I go about swapping the band on this watch?

Asked by: E man
Most watch & jewelry stores carry replacement bands. I don’t believe there is a metal band for this watch. You can remove band with a knife by compressing pin located where the band connects to watch. If you buy a new band most stores will change it for free or a couple dollars.

Asked by: Tim J
The case of the watch without the crown measures at 44mm. The case with the crown measures at 48mm.
