I ordered the Promaster Diver for myself right after the holidays. I was looking for a watch that I could wear at outings and activities. My other Citizen watches are bracelet watches and I reserve them for work and special occasions and never risk nicks or scratches by wearing them during my down times. I decided I needed a Citizen watch with a strap or sports band and thought a classic diver watch would be nice. I had no luck on the storefront, the Citizen selection was scarce since Christmas just passed. I didn’t give up and visited the Citizen website and found a few to choose from to my surprise. I quickly chose the Promaster Diver with the polyurethane strap because of its high end sporty look and of course Citizen’s build quality and Eco-Drive. This is a bold classic style diver watch that’s an eye catcher. I was playing pool with friends and noticed everyone tracking my wrist. The Promaster Diver is a comfortable watch to wear it fits great and dresses up or down. I wear it casually and to work even though work wasn’t the plan. Great build, quality, 5 year warranty and a excellent price point for a premium watch. If you’re looking for a high end watch to add to your collection/rotation you can wear outdoors, in water, casually etc. and will last forever, you should consider a Citizen Promaster Diver.
Excellent watch. Very easy to read and well built. Quality is as good or better than many much more expensive dive watches on the market and more accurate. Definitely recommend. Purchased additional SS band as well.

It's been almost two years since I purchased this time piece and it's still holding up. At work and play.
Job application
I love this watch. I’m in law enforcement and am not easy going with what I wear, so I was very particular about what I wanted. This watch is both durable and classy making it easy to wear on and off the job. I only wish I had found this watch sooner.
Eco-Friendly,Solar Delight
have had my Citizen Diver's for several years. I've worn it from duck hunting and fishing in the Louisiana wetlands, to work and even to 5 star restaurants, This watch fits in any situation. The color Black/Black makes it perfect for both hunting ,military training and combat. The only time it stopped, was when I put it in my gun safe, becasue I could not find a replacement watch band. Who would have thunk that dive watch bands would be difficult to locate in metropolitan New Orleans.Right now, I was able to make one band from three different watches, two Seikos and one Citizen. Seems like stores that sell these watches should also sell the bands, or be able to point you to a source. One improvement would be to put auto glow in the dark vs luminous dials and markers, like on the Seal watches. This would come in handy if you're stuck in a cave without a light source for six months I saw two previous review that left me scratching my head.. Please don't consider this an attack. The only one star review was because of the packaging, not the watch. This is as Eco-friendly as a product can get. Another review stated the turn dial was stuck. Most dive watches have a screw down crown, to improve the watch's resistance to water intrusion. Apparently, this user didn't know this, know who to ask to remedy the situation or when in doubt; read the instructions, please. Finally, this watch has been put through a continuous torture test, salt water, etc. and it never missed a beat. I'm considering buying another to put into the rotation, or give it to a teenage relative, and see if If the watch or I die first.
Live by the water
I am old, I dive, and I live by the water and have lots of sun.(living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) and I am expecting this watch to serve me until I croak or the world ends. My other citizen, also and EcoDrive certified to 200 m depth is still ticking, but now going on 15 years it is not certain how much longer the seals will last. Also, the old one is more of a dress watch, and I am always a bit jittery diving with a shiny watch on my wrist (barracudas!) I just love Citizen EcoDrive watches.
