Rated 5 out of 5 by from Citizen Corso watch Very nice watch, only complaint is that its not as blue as it is in the pictures. Is more of a dull blue, almost a grayish blue. Other than that, its very clean and a joy to look at. Gotten a few compliments already.

He also recently received a huge promotion at work and I wanted him to have something he could pass down later in life. This watch was everything I had hoped for, absolutely gorgeous. The features were impressive as well. Of course he loves it and was taken aback by it. Well done Citizen.

how do i set the day and month on this watch

Pull the crown out one step, then rotate the crown counterclockwise to adjust the date and clockwise to adjust the day (if featured on your timepiece) - From the Citizens Watch Owners Manual

Yes, the position of the 9 on this model is intentional, as this makes the reading of the numbers on the outside of the sub dial easily readable

Does this model (BU2070-12L) have sapphire crystal as advertised? Some of the corso models show mineral and some show sapphire, but there doesn't appear to be much of a price difference.

the band is one of many leather? I see a band with stainless clasp not all leather is it a good band or not yours?

The model watch mentioned does have three different bands available. There are two leather bands that have a fold over clasp and a stainless steel band with a fold over clasp as well. The bands that we have are all Citizen product and made specifically for this model watch.
