Great piece
Citizen time piece. Need I say more. It looked good on the site. Turned out to look even better in person
Recommended product
Great product easy to set up and also really nice looking time peace.
Robust & stylish watch
This was a Christmas for my husband and he absolutely loves it. Great styling, functional and practical. I would highly recommend this watch.
Beautiful watch
The watch is as expected. I too found the citizen buckle to be over-complicated and unnecessary. I simply changed the strap to one with a normal buckle.
Reliable & Great Looking
My second PCAT after losing one on a trip. Beautiful style. Gets compliments when people notice it. It syncs atomic time automatically almost every night, but even if it goes a few days without successfully syncing it still remains spot-on accurate. I've seen many reviews where people complain about the strap. It took a little getting used to, but I like it for the quick snap on and quick removal. The clasp doesn't dig into my wrist like others complain about (if it's uncomfortable, try setting it one notch looser).
Beautiful, Practical, Recommend
Beautifully designed watch with incredible practicality. The fact that the watch is always correcting itself, and is always self-charging (in daylight), it is simply a world of a difference in using this watch compared to others that compete in this category and price point. Citizen watches are highly underrated, and I just don't understand why Seiko gets more attention and more admiration when Citizen has been consistently putting out better looking designs, better technology, and better build quality than Seiko.
Business in the front, party in the back
BLUF: Beautiful looking watch, with blue accents and strap. Perfect for business or casual wear. Functionality: Overall, simple to use features with Chronograph, alarm, and date. The atomic timekeeping works seamlessly and you don't even have to think twice about setting it. I will say that you should probably read the manual because although it is relatively easy to use, it takes some experimenting to figure out what does what, and how to do it. Purpose for buying: I bought this because it had a leather band and used atomic timekeeping w/ solar. For me, it was somewhat difficult to find this combination. However, once purchased, all functionalities work well for me and I'm generally happy with it. Comfort: Not the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. The leather is a bit stiff, and there is a metal clasp assembly which allows you to close the watch. I did not observe that part before buying and only discovered this irritant after purchasing. The stiff leather makes it a little difficult to pull the loop over the excess strap when wearing. The metal assembly on the inside of the watch band protrudes into your skin when wearing, reducing overall diameter of the watch band. The metal assembly protrudes inward enough that it's kind of difficult to pull the strap loop over the excess strap.
Citizen Response
Gorgeous Watch
I agree with the other reviewers. A beautiful watch with an unnecessarily complicated band.
Good looking watch but…
Watch looks great and nice looking blue strap but a nightmare to figure out how to put it on with the clasp set up. Would highly recommend Citizen replace with a regular blue leather strap. Lastly trying to properly set the watch is the other nightmare. I gave up on getting the day of the month set correctly so will have to pay a company that specializes in watches to do it for me. Good looking watch but…
