Satellite Wave - World Time GPS is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Time Piece I bought this watch a couple of months ago, mainly because of the technology good looks and the Eco-drive. I also have one of your radio controlled watches. I live in Florida and radio reception is not reliable here due to the distance from the transmitter. As an electrical engineer, I saw the new watch as a solution to this issue. Receiving a signal now is much easier. The setup and manual settings is on par with mu radio controlled watch. There is a drawback to this watch: The lack of water resistance. This is an item that needs to be emphasized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a watch that is always correct! A thing of beauty is a joy forever and this watch is very well thought out with much Zen influence on the dial. It deals with leap seconds and GPS rollover easily. It also has separate settings for daylight savings time for each of the 40 timezones, so you can have something to do with it, otherwise it is completely automatic. Well I guess you have to push the button to get the RX-GPS function to change the time zone, but it wouldn't be any fun if it didn't need a human being to make it complete. I am very happy with the service, as well. Very nice and speedy replies to my questions. Better starts now is a good slogan, because I have a better watch than I ever had, now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The cure for my watch addiction I got bit by the collecting bug about one year ago. Most of my watches are dive watches (including some Citizen ones). The problem is with automatic watches you are always having to reset them when you put them on. With this watch I don't have to do that. I love being able to look at it anytime and know that the time is absolutely accurate. I believe I am finally cured of my watch addiction. I have worn nothing else but this watch since I bought it two weeks ago. Thank you Citizen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Accurate and Gorgeous I have had many Citizen watches over the years, including radio controlled, aka “pcat.” Then this fall I got into mechanical watches. Beautifully executed and pretty accurate. But “pretty accurate” was the problem. I live in a world where I have gps on my phone, in my car, and in my Garmin devices I wear for fitness. It drove me crazy to have a watch on my wrist that was “pretty accurate.” So I went to my local jewler and saw this watch in person. It is far more handsome than the illustrations on the Citizen website. It is gorgeous, is surprisingly light weight on the wrist, will work in every social situation, and cannot be more accurate. I have put a variety of NATO straps on it, and have leather straps coming. I will take this watch over any other.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Citizen watch This is definitely the best watch I have ever owned and the first watch from Citizen to meet all my requirements. It has so much going for it, it's hard to decide where to begin. First off, it talks to satellites - how cool is that! It's always spot-on accurate. The watch face is very attractive and well thought out. It is simple, elegant and easy to read - not cluttered like most Citizen watches. The perpetual calendar ensures the day and date are always correct. It"s powered by light so you never have to change a battery. It's waterproof to deeper than I am ever going to go and it acquires and syncs with satellites very quickly. The watch does everything, all you have to do is make sure it gets enough light to keep it charged. Of all the watches in my collection, the Satellite Wave by far brings me the most joy! Get one, you will be glad you did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Watch I've been wanting to get this watch for some time. Citizen had it on sale with a 6th year warranty. You can't beat that. So I decided to buy from the brand. Citizen offer to size the watch which is pretty cool. Prompt shipping. Overall happy with my purchase. I like the watch look and technological features and hope it will last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last watch you'll ever need! I almost bought a used one, but I didn't know the history of it and it was a little scratched up, so I returned it and bought a new one straight from Citizen with the 6 year warranty. It is more beautiful in person than any of the videos or pictures, the prismatic effects are amazing and somehow don't photograph well. Sizing the band is a little tricky with the collars and pins, but I was able to figure it out. It would be nice if the instructions told you how the pins and collars are, rather than just telling you to go to a jeweler, even though it is not very easy to do. Speaking of instructions, the watch didn't come with any books other than the one page warranty registration card. It looks like there's a place in the box for them, but there weren't any. I hope that it holds up and I will be extremely happy with the whole experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful, Wearable Classic Eye-catching style with supreme functionality—what more could one want at this price point? This has become my everyday watch. It has also circumnavigated the globe with me, handling time zone changes flawlessly. This watch has just the right "heft," enough to remind you that you're wearing it, not so much weight to be bothersome. Very comfortable to wear.

What is the bezel made of in the watch with the black bezel (and black dial)? Looks ceramic but there is nothing mentioned in the specifications.

It is stainles steel, with a polished side and brushed top

The battery is not working fine. I put the watch exposed directly to the light of sun and never get full charge, I did it by eight hours for two days. I only have 3 weeks with this watch and I don't know why the battery is gave me this issue.

Asked by: Alejandro Mulet
If the watch is brand new, it should be fully charged.  However, if it’s been sitting in a warehouse for a while, there’s a chance that the charge level may be reduced to medium.  I’ve owned a lot of Citizen Eco Drive watches, and they’ve always arrived fully charged.  I’d contact the seller and ask about a refund or exchange.  The newer Eco Drive systems have extremely long lasting batteries, and you may have a defective one.  Generally, you should get a full charge from a day or so in direct sunlight.
