Dubbed the Promaster Land, the new timepiece is fully equipped and ready for action, featuring a built-tough 43.9mm diameter in gray and silver-tone stainless steel, with a sporty rubber strap securing the watch to the wrist. On the dial, luminous hands and markers stand out against a black background for high legibility, while a rotating compass scale surrounds the look, and the digital-analog display ensures complete focus on the mission. The watch’s advanced capabilities include a world time display, chronograph, alarm, light level indicator, perpetual calendar, power save mode, charge level display, and summertime mode. Absolutely love this watch. Its weight feels great. Looks great on the wrist. The lume is extremely bright. Set up is easy. Was fully charged and time was set when it arrived. Only thing that could be better is the light function and the facts the chronograph doesn’t show the time while it counts. I think it’s fine for the most part but I know some will hate it and say they can’t see the display in darkness. To me it’s fine, but Indiglos have better back light. In any case this watch is my new go to every day timepiece. I love automatics but hated winding them and setting every day. This is easy to use, beautiful and has all the functions I need.
I gifted myself this watch a few days ago and has kept all my other watches in a drawer since. It completely exceeded all my expectations and practically does everything that I need, not to mention it is very comfortable and not too thick. Every function is a must on someone who works in the oil field like myself. One of my favorite things about it is the different calendar displays to choose from, also love the strong lume it provides! Only two suggestions, one, I wish it had a positive display option as the Home Screen; I believe it is easier to read. Two, I wish it showed the chronograph numbers as opposed to showing “running”, when it’s on. I told my wife this will be my everyday watch for the next ten years, or longer! Thank you Citizen for making a watch that I bond with and suits my personality well. I cannot thank you enough!

I was looking for an everyday watch to complete my collection, and this is the perfect one for me. Is full of features and it's easy to read day and night.

Excellent, but…
This is an excellent ani-digi watch - readily accessible digital features and the right ones, robust build, darned good looking! It would have become part of my edc, but…. It is just too big for my wrist (6.25”). I was quite disappointed. Felt like wearing a can of tuna - not in an action hero way. When Citizen looses the internal compass bezel and knob, shrinks the thing by 2-3mm in diameter, I’ll be back.
U822 Land
I absolutely love the look and weight of this watch. It has all the features you need and set up and navigation of this watch was easy. I do wish it had a screw down crown and compass button. These features would make this watch even better… I have had no issues with not having them, but they would be nice. Love this watch.
My most favorite watch!
I’m an amateur radio operator, and the three time zones are important. Butter soft band, keeps exact time, and I receive many compliments on its looks. Very comfortable to wear. I like this watch better than my Rolex dive watch.

This is a real watch. Great looks and feel on the wrist, classy traditional styling and not tough figuring out the functions. Purchased directly from Citizen so I know I got the real deal. This is my new EDW.

Solid watch
I was looking for a solid watch and selected the U822. The watch is nice looking and its size looks just right on my 7 inch wrist for a sporty watch. I like the digital feature too. I watched You tube videos so I quickly get used to how to use it. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and look forward to using it for many years.
Great look and fit
It turned out to be a perfect fit for me. I don't care for smaller case watches, this Landmaster covers my wrist nicely. My wrists are a little on the thin side so I really like that the straps aren't too long for me. I really like that the LCD screen is a good size so it's easier to read. Having the option to have the screen lite or dark contrast is great as well.
Amazing offering of a watch
I just love what Citizen has done here in this ProMaster offering. The reviewers were right about how this watch looks and functions and is even more stunning in person. I love the solidity that the watch brings and its craftsmanship. I love the size of the watch and weight and wears well with informal to business casual. For $540 it’s a solid deal.
