The new Series8 870 is ready for any occasion, featuring a 40.8mm two-tone stainless steel case with a black and silver-tone bezel alongside the best of Citizen's finishing techniques. Water resistant to 100m and able to withstand magnetic fields up to 16,000 A/m, the watch is powered by the high-performance Caliber 0950. The automatic movement is visible through a sapphire exhibition case back and is capable of maintaining an accuracy of -5 / +10 seconds per day with a frequency of 28,800 v/h and a power reserve of 50 hours. Together, the timepiece's superior technical performance readily supports its elevated style. A handsome tapered silver-tone stainless steel bracelet secures the watch to the wrist, with its design following the aesthetic of the case via the use of polished and brushed facets. Beneath a sapphire crystal, the watch's textured black dial features applied indices and lume-filled hands, each working together to offer incredible legibility alongside a utility-driven 3 o'clock date window.
