Perfect dive watch. No need to spend 1K plus for other dive watches. This is everything you need.
I have the BN0261-51e black dial. Saw it advertised in Spain & Italy a month or two ago. I finally saw it on the Citizen USA website 7 June and ordered it. Got it 11 June. It’s exactly what I wanted. Perfect size, looks great on my 7.25 in wrist. Bezel is smooth. The tool less micro adjusting clasp is fantastic (I adjust the fit a couple times a day)! Solar panels on my roof and in my watches.
I was looking for a diver style watch that fit well on my 6.8” wrist, was solar powered, and this is perfect. Thickness is 11.5mm with a bezel diameter of 40.4mm. It doesn’t say if it has an anti reflective coating on the sapphire, but compared to others in my collection it would seem to.
First Eco-Drive and First Dive watch
You cant beat citizens eco-drive. I appreciate the history and quality of this company. I got this watch as a daily and for work. I was going to change the band out but its so well made, I grew to love it. With all that stainless steel, it's definitely got some good weight to it so it sometimes distal on my wrist when Im moving a lot, but not a big deal. Switching the band would help. The lumination is great but doesnt last long. Not a deal breaker. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this watch. The design is fantastic. Flat surface with raised bezel so the sapphire crystal gets protected from unnecessary scratches, crown protection, screw down crown, date, good hands, and limited writing on the surface. I hate when watches write too much on the face. It should be the brand, 1 or 2 key features of the watch and that is it. Citizen nails it. If youre on the edge about getting this dive watch, make the move. You will love it. And... this wont be your last watch, so keep the collection going:)
