In a modern interpretation of the original 70’s dive watch, wear the new Promaster Mechanical Diver – the timepiece with a deep backstory. Inspired by the design of the 1977 Citizen Challenge Diver that was found on an Australian beach in 1983, the watch was covered in barnacles after having been submerged in the Pacific Ocean for years, but it was still ticking. The lightweight and scratch-resistant Super TitaniumTM case is complemented by a black dial with embossed hands and a classic green luminous for a vintage feel, a rotating elapsed-time bezel, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The retro look is completed with the black polyurethane strap with a raised square pattern. This advanced timepiece with automatic movement features enhanced magnetic resistance to protect against external magnetic fields, as well as a 42-hour power reserve. This high-performance watch comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box, is ISO compliant and water resistant to 200 metres. Calibre number 9051.

I really love the watch and it’s so pretty. I love that it has sapphire glass case and it’s automatic. I wish it had leather strap instead of plastic but it’s ok since I’ll just buy a leather strap.
I think it’s very good, but it would be great if they could provide complementary citizen bracelet for the price. But overall it’s a handsome watch.

Bought one and was so impressed with the quality and feel that I quickly purchased another one. A solid watch that can be had for under $500.00. There really is no competition for this watch at this price point. And when you can buy two for the price of one that isn't even Titanium it's hard to pass up.

I am extremely happy with this watch. I love dive style watches and have several but this one ticks so many boxes for me that it hasn't left my wrist since purchasing it. It's light, it's thin, it's highly legible and has fantastic lume. When I first saw it I thought the crown was a little small, but after living with it, it doesn't bother me at all. I've since swapped out the rubber strap for a Maratac Zulu strap and love how it wears. The supplied strap was very good, but the keepers liked to wander and it felt a bit bulky. This leads me to my only "complaint". Citizen, PLEASE add drilled lugs to this watch. I would buy it again as is, but drilled lugs would send it over the top. I'd love to be able to install heavy duty spring bars to compliment the Zulu strap but without drilled lugs they are a beast to remove. This watch is a home run as is. Drilling the lugs would make it a grand slam.
Have been wearing it for a few months now. Enjoy the light weight and the strap is comfortable. Impressed with the quality, nothing misaligned on the dial 😁. Recommend this one for sure.

I love this diver! It’s a proper size for my average wrist, and the titanium case is very comfortable and light. The rubber strap is supple and assures the watch can be a daily wear in all conditions. This Miyota movement is keeping excellent time. This is a classic looking diver, and a great value!

Constructed light but tough. Dial clear and easy to read. Wish it had a 120 instead of a 60 click bezel. Crown too small. Rubber strap is nice and ideally long. Great everyday time pieces with rugged qualities. I'm happy
Received the watch direct through Citizen’s website and it came with defects. There is a dent/dip on the side of the case. This is obviously poor finishing. There are scratches on the aluminum bezel. I’m not sure what’s going on with the hand tag either. “Eco-drive-auto dive”? It’s a shame because this watch had minimal dust under the crystal and the bezel was aligned. Returning it for a refund.

This watch has really surprised me in terms of accuracy. I’ve had this watch for 2 months & I haven’t had it run faster than 7 seconds in one day. The 9051 punches well above its price point. This watch & its vintage aesthetics make for a wonderful daily tool watch. Also, the sapphire crystal is just fabulous. Great legibility even from the most extreme angles!
