Crimson beauty
I am a watch guy like many here. Rolex and Seiko have been my favorite brands and have owned numerous other brands from Patek, VC, JLC, etc. Never had a Citizen until the adorable Tsuyosa which I bought in every color. Then I became intrigued when I read and watched videos about what citizen had done with their eco drive technology and what they were doing with the titanium cases, the unbelievable dials, the finishing, the reasonable sizes and the combination of everything in addition to a perpetual calendar so well integrated that all one sees is a stunning and classic face completely unassuming yet delivering world beating technology focused entirely on making the watch eminently useful without any effort on the part of the owner. No worries about winding or battery changes, date changes, accuracy drifting, etc etc etc. Wow!! I must say this watch and clearly the other AQ series The Citizen have impressed me irrespective of the price. A similar quality Swiss watch would easily cost four times as much. However you cannot get this combination of style and substance from anyone else particularly because the technology here is light years ahead. Even the Seiko solar watches are very basic watches with none of this efficiency, superlative accuracy, stunning good looks. Within a period of a week I have purchased three Citizen eco drive models, two being The Citizen and one the fabulous new diver with various improvements and yes, smaller for normal wrist sizes. If anyone is on the fence about buying this Crimson beauty, be one of only 300 around the globe who will own it. At this price Citizen is giving it away. There is no better advertisement than the spreading of the knowledge about their fantastic watches than through the words of watch enthusiasts. Bravo Citizen. Well done indeed!
