Inspired by the dark side of the moon, this men’s watch from CITIZEN was created in partnership with HAKUTO-R, a Japanese lunar exploration project with plans to launch an expedition to the moon. Made with the same Super Titanium™ technology the company will be using to help craft components for the mission, the all-black watch has a unique dial, constructed in several layers — at the base is an inkjet-printed image of the moon itself, followed by a dial base, and then another glossy inkjet-printed coating on top to give the entire thing a three-dimensional look and feel. It uses GPS timekeeping with worldwide reception and enables the world’s fastest timekeeping signal reception speed from GPS navigation satellites. Advanced features also include world time in 27 cities (40 time zones), a chronograph, dual time zones, universal coordinated time display, perpetual calendar, as well as daylight savings time, power reserve and light level indicators. The watch also has glitter elements on the dial to evoke space and the stars, and a mother-of-pearl subdial ring with black print completes the look. On the back, the HAKUTO-R logo is laser etched for a lasting reminder of this ambitious project and what it hopes to achieve. For anyone who loves space, the moon, or just wants to support those looking to the stars as the next frontier, this is a luxury watch that can’t be missed.

Great watch, love how simplistic the watch is yet how intricately built it is. Setting time zones and watch the dial rotate is quite the sight! Only complaint is problem trying to register the watch. Get an error when using app and scanning tag - maybe because it's new and limited edition?!

Stunning piece
I bought this watch about a month ago. And it is definitely my favorite piece to look at in the sunlight. My peers give constant compliments. And always ask to wear it. lol... It is very light to wear. And it goes with everything because it's Black & gold. It's clearly one of the best looking watches Citizen has produced so far.
