My favorite watch by far, I’ve been working on the oil industry for 23 years and ruined a few watches out here. This is the first watch that I’ve slammed up against any and everything out here and it hasn’t scratched or broken. Very good quality watch look forward to buying several more.
I’ve owned this Watch now for about a month and started collecting citizen watches about 5 months ago, the main issue that people have with these watches is that you can’t read the dial, and while that is true if it’s absolutely dark outside in any other condition I never have trouble. The watch has a very expensive and strong feeling to it with just the right amount of weight. I’m hoping to further my collection soon and get more of the nighthawk line up in the future! Great job citizen, you’ve created another masterpiece!
I've wanted to get a citizen watch for many years, this Nighthawk is my first. This watch is beautiful. The build quality is above reproach. Warning to those who try to use it in low light, you just can't see the dial and that's okay if you know about it before hand. Also I got my size off by a little and they sent me an extra link no questions asked. The replacement of the link was super simple. Great watch, great customer service.
I buy my watch 3 years ago and this week sometinght was rang 2 times.
I purchased this watch years ago on sale at a local Kay Jewelers, it was priced $200 or $300 off the MSRP of $499. It's been worn through two combat deployments and years before and since. I am rough on my watches and outside of the band being worn and the crystal slightly scratched from repeatedly being hit by steel, it has held up wonderfully.
I had this on my Christmas wish list a few years ago my family pitched in and got it for me best watch I've ever had fits perfect I have since purchased another citizen watch and even more in love with it
I bought my Citizen Nighthawk about three months ago. It is my first watch I ever purchased and I could not be happier. Everytime I look down and see it on my wrist I love it even more. The watch is perfect. It's can be dressed up like I wear it every day(business dress) but then I have no problem wearing it causal either. I love the look but it's also very comfortable! Overall I'm very pleased with this watch and have no regrets purchasing it!

I’ve owned this watch for a few months now and what a beautiful watch it is. I initially noticed this watch when I purchased my first ever Citizen, but I didn’t have the money at the time to get it. With black being my favorite color in many things, I knew I wanted to own this watch one day. Now that I do, I’m very happy with it. My only complaint (like many other peoples) is that the watch can be hard to read at times. However, I don’t mind much as I have many other Citizens that aren’t blacked out and are easier to read. Another small gripe is the ion plating. I don’t wear this watch as much as some others I own because I’ve seen pictures of how other Nighthawks and how terrible their bands look when scratched. So for that reason, this watch inevitably won’t be an everyday wear for me.
This watch is mechanically great and looks amazing. It's hard to see indoors or in dim light. In complete darkness the lume is alright and did the job. The only problem is this mineral glass scratches so easily. This should come with a sapphire installed.

I have 6 citizen watches. I actually just bought another one yesterday, the mens corso. My nighthawk i bought about 2 years ago and i thought the hands just didnt light up until i realized i got a bad watch. Ill leave it under the sun for a week just so it lights up for a second. Wish it worked as presented. If you guys can do anything that would be greet! I have had one of your watches for 10 years
Im very disappointed in Citizen. I bought this watch about 2 years ago and the watch’s battery hasn’t held a charge for longer than 2 hours since I brought it home. I took it back to the retailer who then sent it to Citizen for repair. It was returned, apparently fixed, but it’s still not working. At this point, I wear it because it looks amazing with all my suits. Not for telling time. What a disappointing experience.

Bought this watch for myself as a birthday present, never had a “real” watch before as an adult. Could not be more pleased with it! Looks fantastic, I find myself looking at it for no reason other than it looks phenomenal. Lume could last longer as I work night shift but other than that, phenomenal

I bought this watch back in 2017 shortly after it's launch. I wear it as often as I can, to work, out for pleasure and everything in between. No scratches, never misses a beat, the quality can not be beat. I live a modest life so 550 to drop on a watch was a huge purchase and I would buy it again. I have since bought 2 more eco drive citizens and love them but this one is the go to. 9 years later and its still the favorite, you will not regret this purchase.
