With a case design inspired by a vintage perfume bottle and featuring the curved, sleek lines of May bells, the bezel shape has a distinct feature at the 3 o’clock position, where the crown resembles an elegant perfume stopper. Featuring a white, mother-of-pearl dial made of recycled materials from the shell of pearl oysters that are discarded after harvest, and showcased on a sleek, silver-tone stainless steel case and bracelet. The dial also has a diamond that gives focus to the 8 o’clock position and is finished with a sapphire crystal. I’ve had this watch for a week now and love it! The watchface is large enough to be easily read along with the dark blue hands. One of the reviews said the blue color of the mother of pearl face was not really blue but mine is. The color changes some with the light but overall it looks blue, especially if I am wearing a blue top. The watch band is smooth and fits well. I love the little sparkle near the stem along with the blue sapphire on the end of the stem. Unusual stunning watch.

I’ve been in jewelry sales for over 10 years and Citizen watches have always been apart of my job. I’m not a watch person, but I’ve seen a lot of nice Citizens over the years. Some people keep theirs for over 20 years! When I saw the L Mae in stainless steel with a blue mother of pearl dial I had to have it. It’s so elegant and perfect for me.
