My husband purchased this version of the Calendrier line from Citizen. It is very accurate, and not needing a battery change is a plus. But let's talk about the beauty of this baby for a minute. No photo does it justice: the mother-of-pearl face is luminous and sets off the diamonds on the face so we'll. I love that the diamonds are inside the watch, making it easier to wear with less worry. Very practical and functional. You do have to adjust for dates when it is a non-31-day month, but it's very simple and easy to adjust. The moon phases give a delicate, almost Gilded Age vibe. But this is also unisex. I've read a lot of reddit threads about guys wanting to wear it. It's a great watch for your collection. If you're thinking of getting it, do it. Citizen wins at this one.

Received as a gift and it's amazing. It's feminine and functional. The mother of pearl face is eye catching and the diamond accents are just the right amount of sparkle. The complications are exactly what I needed, month, day, date and lunar cycle. It is also relatively easy to set. I really appreciated the light blue lume on the hands. The bracelet and butterfly clasp are also well done and comfortable. My only criticism would be that in certain lighting the month, day and date are difficult to read but its not a deal breaker. All in all a beautiful and useful watch.

I've been eyeing this watch since my Bulova was ruined by a jeweler when getting a new battery. I'm a nurse so I need a watch that is functional with a second hand. When I saw this watch I fell in love with the mother of pearl face. I was able to find it at a brick and mortar store that is a citizen authorized store. I have a large wrist so I wanted to make sure I didn't have any trouble with the sizing. It fit perfectly without any modifications! The clasp is a double clasp which takes a little while to get used to but I'm sure it will become second nature quickly. The face is a little lighter in color and closer to purple and iridescent green than what the website shows but regardless it's still beautiful. If you want a watch with a larger face then just get it! I never have to ask the day of the week or month again! And as a nurse it's not a bad thing to know when a full moon is coming up!

Beautiful watch with very nice details, but found it hard to adjust to my wrist width. One link made the difference between too loose and a little too snug. I also expected the color to be more on the purple end versus blue, that said, it's still very beautiful.

It's a medium size to large-ish watch with good weight, which I love and feels very high quality. And of course, the solar power is a huge sell for me. Cons: The white on mother of pearl clock face makes it hard to read the date or time. I found it very tedious to set the moon phases and absolutely required the online manual to get it right. If you look carefully, the diamond accents do not go all the way around - they are missing on the 3, 6 & 9, which I think is a design flaw. That being said, I LOVE this watch and I am very happy with my purchase. It's at a great price point to be able to collect many, this being my third Citizen Eco-Drive watch. It's feminine, yet stately and serves a lot of function. The moon phases, though difficult to set in my opinion, also offer a touch of whimsy I i really like. I would definitely recommend this timepiece.

This watch has everything a grown woman needs in a Citizen watch! The only problem was the face is highly reflective making it difficult to see the features. I’m so heavy hearted I had to return it. But Citizen Watch has great customer service. Hopefully, Citizen will have this exact watch with a solid background before Christmas of 2022 so I will have a merry Christmas and reorder this amazing piece for keeps this time. It’s heavier than my other watches, but it’s worth the weight! The price was irresistible because I know the usual quality of Citizen watches. My other Citizen watches can’t do anything near the things this watch does. 4.5 stars that will be 5 stars when Citizen gets a solid background for this exact watch. As you can see from the close up picture of the watch in the box, the awesome features are blocked by the background glare. Other than that, best Citizen watch EVER! I’ll be back. LOL I’m tired of using my iPhone as a watch.
