Reviews
changing time is challenging
The watch came quickly from Citizen pre-sized, but not accurately to my 6 3/4 wrist. I needed to add back a link, which is challenging because of the little sleeve (easy to lose) that goes over the bracelet pin as it is inserted. The manual for the U830 movement is not yet available 3 weeks after product release (not smart, Japan), so after getting lost and messed up by trial and error on time change (from pacific to central) as well as not figuring out chronograph operation, I needed to apply an all-reset (which uses all three push buttons and the LED interface). So I located the U822 movement manual, which is close enough to U830 to get back on time. I still don't know how to accurately change the UTC time after all reset. After watching a couple videos about the Breitling watch slide rule, I got into the basic uses (mutiply, dividing, speed, conversions) for the rotating slide-rule bezel on the Promaster. The numbers on the bezel are so small even for bifocals that I needed to wear a head magnifier to make use of the slide rule--a novelty. A final note, the watch case (not including pushers) is actually 42mm, not 43mm as indicated on the Citizen web site, so the size fits better than expected on my thin wrist. I'd give 5 stars if the interface manual were available (including QR code on watch) and indeed easier to understand.
