Representing the embodiment of thoughtful design and an ultra-clean execution, the new Series8 831 features a 40mm silver-tone stainless steel faceted case alongside the best of Citizen's brushed and polished finishing techniques. Water resistant to 100m and able to withstand magnetic fields up to 16,000 A/m, the watch is powered by the high-performance Calibre 9051. The automatic movement is visible through a sapphire crystal exhibition case back and is capable of maintaining an accuracy of +20 / -10 seconds per day with a frequency of 28,800 v/h. As a whole, the timepiece's superior technical performance perfectly supports its elevated style.
Its silver-tone stainless steel H-link bracelet continues the case’s refined use of brushed and polished finishing techniques, ensuring the watch is ready for wear in any instance. Underneath a sapphire crystal, a light blue textured dial is as captivating as it is practical, playing in the light while being highly legible on account of its applied indices and the sharp design of hands. A 3 o'clock date window adds even more utility to the design.

This was one of my more sizeable purchases in my watch collection so far price-wise (I’m still quite new to cellecting) and I am very pleased with my decision. I knew from looking at the pictures that I would love the dial - it’s beautiful in person, and very eye-catching in the sun or any direct light. The bracelet and case are also beautifully polished and reflect light so well, which complements the pop of color from the dial. I also love the texturing and finishing on the movement; great detail all-around. The watch feels great on the wrist, but not as heavy as I thought it’d be (which i prefer). Overall, very happy with this purchase!

A beutiful watch
This is my first Citizen and I am extremely happy with this purchase. The moment I saw it on the website I stopped looking for anything else. I am aware that online pictures usually exaggerate the colors and features of a product, but let me tell you that in person this watch is even nicer. The colors and details of the dial are amazing. The dial looks like the ocean glimmering under the sun. The silver and blue hands look great. The angular features of the lugs and bracelet are so nice. Certain sides of the bracelet links are polished and shine away, making the watch even more eye catching. The weight is perfect, not too heavy and not too light. This watch will definitely have people asking you what kind of watch it is. Looking to keep this beauty for many many years.
