The past becomes the present with the new Promaster Dive Automatic men’s watch by Citizen. Going deeper into the history of the original version of this diving watch, it was released in 1989 for the new generation of dive watch enthusiasts. A design element that stands out is the distinctive, serrated bezel design that was inspired by a fugu, the Japanese name for pufferfish. Featuring a 3-piece, 42mm case, sapphire crystal, and a black polyurethane strap, the black rotating bezel with a black easy grip aluminum ring surrounds the black dial and luminous hands and markers, while the case back features an engraving of a fugu or pufferfish. This technically advanced and automatic sport watch comes in an exclusive collector’s dive tank box with an interchangeable black rubber strap. It is ISO compliant with a screw-down crown and water resistant to 200 metres. Calibre 8204.

Purchased this watch a couple weeks ago and checks every box that I wanted in a daily driver. From work to swimming, it has already seen it and performed as expected. Looks great and can be dressed up or down with the different bands that are included. I’ve never owned a watch with the crown at the 8 position, and honestly, I really like it a lot. Dial lume is bright off the bat but does tend to dull throughout the night but is still very much legible. Wouldn’t have hesitation on buying this as something that you can use everyday and not have to worry about it moving forward.

I purchases for my husband for Xmas but gave it to him early! He was very happy! I read the story to him and he was in such joy. The reason I picked this stunning watch is because of the story is a tie to us he’s a diver and I am Japanese! Very happy with the purchase! Very beautiful crafted watch.
