I was looking for analog dive watch within my budget that can withstand harsh treatment and a lot of wear - I don’t have to look any further, this watch is built like a tank. I was very pleased to find that it is easily readable under water, that it’s ISO certified, and that I can time my dives without digital technology. To top it off, it is powered by ANY light source, natural or artificial. It’s a magnificent wrist watch from Citizen that also looks great no matter the occasion. I unreservedly recommend the Promaster Dive Eco Drive watch.
I was a long-time Seiko diver loyalist until their pricing and QC got a bit ridiculous. This Citizen easily competes a tier or two higher than its priced. Excellent build quality, perfect size on my 6.7" wrist, and the peace of mind that comes with Eco-Drive. The IP bezel was a great move; it adds a subtle bit of contrast. I have it on a Eulit Perlon and it's my new favorite daily.

Braving the elements
This piece has been amazing on my trip to Hawaii! I’ve taken it scuba diving and to restaurants. The lume is incredibly bright and sensitive, any ray of sunlight makes it glow under light that’s slightly less bright it’s still visibly glowing. It’s got a very nice bezel and isn’t super heavy for a dive watch. The screw down crown is nice but I wish it would screw down to the point were the logo sits upright and not in a random direction. However there is zero resistance when setting the time is so smooth to move the hands around. Eco drive is amazing as always. 10/10 watch.
