Avis
Great Looking Watch
The Citizen Tsuyosa is a watch that truly lives up to its name—“strength”—not just in build quality but in visual impact. As the first Citizen timepiece in my collection, I had high expectations, and I’m pleased to say it exceeded most of them. Let’s start with the dial, which is nothing short of brilliant. The color is vibrant and dynamic, catching the light in ways that make it feel alive on the wrist. Whether you’re in natural sunlight or under indoor lighting, the dial radiates personality and depth. It’s the kind of detail that draws compliments and makes you glance down more often than you’d expect—just to admire it. The Cyclops date windows is a fine substitute for travel days I choose not to wear my other watches. The bracelet is another standout feature. It’s sleek, well-finished, and hugs the wrist comfortably. The integration with the case is seamless, giving the watch a refined, almost luxury-sport aesthetic that punches well above its price point. The links articulate smoothly, and the overall feel is light yet substantial—perfect for all-day wear without fatigue. That said, the clasp is where things feel a bit more average. It’s functional and secure, but lacks the finesse and premium feel of the rest of the watch. However, it does offer a decent level of micro-adjustment, which turned out to be a saving grace in my case. Despite specifying my wrist size in the order, the bracelet arrived incorrectly sized. I had to add back three links, which delayed my ability to wear the watch until I could bring it home to my watch lab and make the necessary adjustments. It was a minor inconvenience, but once resized, the clasp’s adjustment range allowed me to dial in the perfect fit. Comfort-wise, the Tsuyosa is a joy. It feels light on the wrist, with a balanced weight distribution that makes it easy to forget you’re wearing it—until you catch a glimpse of that stunning dial. The case size is modern but not oversized, making it versatile for both casual and dressier occasions. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Citizen Tsuyosa. It’s a stylish, well-built watch that offers tremendous value and visual appeal. The dial and bracelet are exceptional, and while the clasp could use a bit more refinement, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. The sizing hiccup was unfortunate, but easily remedied, and the watch has quickly become a favorite in my rotation. For anyone considering their first Citizen—or simply looking for a bold, colorful addition to their collection—the Tsuyosa is a compelling choice. It’s a watch that blends comfort, style, and everyday wearability with just enough flair to stand out. I’m glad I took the leap, and I look forward to seeing what Citizen brings to the table next.

My Husband loved this! I got it for him for his birthday and he was very excited about it. He loves that you are able to see through the clear back into the watch mechanism. A cool touch! Great product!

Simply Beautiful
The Tiffany Blue color has a long and storied history as a desired color for watch dials. Citizen has not only maintained that beauty standard, but has made it accessible to more watch enthusiasts. The title truly says it all: this watch is “simply beautiful”. This was also my first Citizen watch and I have to say that I was both grateful for the custom bracelet sizing and the ease in which I was able to adjust the size of the bracelet after I improperly measured my own wrist. The quality, combined with the beauty and simple maintenance makes this a watch for the first time buyer and the avid collector.
