CITIZEN & BLUE ANGELS A New Launch in an Exciting History
For over 25 years, CITIZEN has partnered with the Blue Angels to develop timepieces that embody the latest flight technology. The first collaboration gave rise to the lauded Blue Angels Navihawk. Then, in 2002, the latest Eco-Drive technology was incorporated into the Skyhawk Blue Angels model. The innovation continued with the Eco-Drive Blue Angels Skyhawk, which received a high-tech Super Titanium case, and again in 2009 with an iteration that made use of radio-controlled timekeeping. More recently, we've honed the sharp aesthetics of this line, building to our most recent launch, which truly embodies the precision and superior functionality of the Navy's elite flight demonstration squadron: the JY8128-56L.
Our past collaborations span everything from the Promaster Skyhawk A-T and Promaster Navihawk A-T to the World Chronograph A-T and Promaster Nighthawk. What these exclusive timepieces have in common are advanced features and a striking aesthetic inspired by the needs of some of the world's most skilled pilots.
Our newest Promaster Skyhawk model continues our longstanding history of collaboration. The JY8128-56L features a dial executed in a deep blue, with white and yellow printing that contrasts against black subdials. The squadron's seal is emblazoned in blue and yellow on the caseback. With only 9,999 pieces available, this limited edition watch comes in a special flight-helmet themed case.
