Promaster Navihawk GPS is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Sharp with Great Functionality I bought this watch a month ago (early Christmas gift) while on vacation in PR. I loved the idea of both the Ecco-Drive and the GPS time setting. It took a little while to understand the owners manual, but once I was able to make sense of it, I have a number of quarts watches and I am not a fan of having to get batteries replaced, even only once a year and since they are dive watches, they have to be sent away to qualified service techs. Up until this watch, my day to day was a Tag Heuer automatic, but it's original cost relegated it to a dress/special occasion watch. This is a good looking and functional watch, great for everyday wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Wonderful Machine - 'cept the Users Manual I purchased this watch last October as a new job requires copious amounts of international travel - and my old Seiko Radio Wave was acting up. I am very happy with this watch and the many functions and nuances. It may weigh a bit much (too bad the case isn't Titanium) but I enjoy the style and panache. The User Manual is frustrating. Now in Citizen's defense, emails to Customer Support are prompt and accurate. But there is little explanation as to what the Modes are RX-TME? RX-GPS? There is one function that I think Citizen missed - and that is automatic time change for Daylight Savings. Since the watch knows where you are, cannot the watch also adjust to DST based upon law at the time?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Promaster Navihawk GPS, Outstanding Timepiece! Beautiful precision Japan complications and the F900 movement is fantastic. E6B slide rule calculator is great for any pilot. Blue sapphire face looks stunning and resists scratching very well. Love the ease of use of the different complications. Durable and reliable double locking clasp (post pin is actually cut from one piece of steel rather than a rivet). Stainless steel isn't as heavy to wear as you'd think, you can swim and golf comfortably while wearing the Citizen Promaster Navihawk GPS. Amazing watch for a really fair price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The watch other watches wish they were. I now own a couple of Citizen Watches but most proud to wear my Promaster Navihawk GPS. I received this watch as a birthday gift from my wife and yes I did tear up a little. Everything about this watch screams perfection. It is stylish yet rugged. It has just the right amount weight that will remind you it’s still on the arm. The functionally of the watch was very easy to learn and you will find yourself using every feature. Best part for me is the accuracy of time down to the second. Automatically setting its self by GPS updates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic travel watch for daily wear I picked up this watch, my second Citizen, about a month before leaving on our annual 6 week medical mission trip to Togo, Africa. We connected on our flight through Brussels, and also made a side trip to Italy on the way home. This watch set itself with no problems whatsoever, and looks fantastic, as well. I have many different types of watches in my collection, ranging from $20 to $3500, and this watch will find itself on my wrist frequently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best watch I have ever owned! I bought this watch 3 months ago before going on an international vacation to China and Japan. I'm certainly glad I did. You pretty much can set this watch and forget it. You should never have to touch this watch again no matter where you go. The speed that this watch syncs up with a satellite and adjusts your time, date and location is incredible. Its much faster and more convenient than the traditional radio controlled watches. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Styleish and functional Very glad to have gotten this watch. It looks great and is very easy to operate considering how many features it has. Was also pleased to find out it had a sapphire crystal because I'm rather abusive with my every day watches. Only reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because the luminescence is a bit shoddy and fades away in about 15 minutes. (I was at the beach all day and at sunset we went to a comedy club. By the time I was seated and the lights dimmed I couldn't see the face at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Call It One Of The Best. Call It The Best! I have watches that are well into the 5 figure range, and I can tell you that if you removed the name from them nothing will compare to this watch. This is a flawless timepiece. The functionality is amazing. This watch is clearly the best watch of 2016, and 2017.

How long do the hands and numerals "glow" if kept in the dark? And how quickly does it recharge to full brightness?

Asked by: Brightness
This great watch does not have a face light, however does have luminous dial markings. Pending the length and brightness of light the face is exposed to before darkness, the markings will glow up to an hour. I have woken hours after sleeping to a dark room and seen the markings (dimmer than initially of course). Charging the watch itself is another matter, bight sun light will charge quickly and last up to 1.5 years. I always keep the watch at full charge for best performance!
