Great easy to read watch
Great, easy to read watch even in the dark. Simple, classic design that will last a long time. The watch band that comes with it fits and has many holes to adjust it to the perfect fit, however for those of us that have small wrists, the length as one other reviewer said is too long. There is not quite enough of the length to tuck back under the keeper so you either have to cut it off or find another band to fit. I did the later and put it on a navy blue band which looks better than the gray. It makes the watch face pop and makes it look much more striking. Despite the stock band, the watch is great and very happy with it!
Excellent GMT
I've owned several automatic GMT watches. I purchased this watch because it was an Ecodrive and made by Citizen. Citizen does not disappoint. The alignment of the seconds hand with the face markings is PERFECT. The lume is OUTSTANDING. The quartz movement is very accurate. The domed sapphire crystal is great. The pass-through band is stiff and uncomfortable. I replaced it immediately with a silicone rubber band with quick release pins. I encourage Citizen to replace the nylon band. I'm completely satisfied with the watch.
Dial texture
Great looking everyday watch. The dial is very cool with a unique texture. The strap will fit anyone. Impressive watch for the price.
Very nice
Sweet watch, very lite
Very visible!
So I really was looking forward to this line being released. I ordered 2 of the new, and trying to get the 3rd I want, not released in US yet. I tend to prefer either GMT watches, or clean gada watches. I like solar and radio controlled also... so this ticked a few boxes. Extremely visible numbers, easy to read any time! Im very happy with the purchase and would recommend. Strap is a bit stiff for my liking, but easily changeable. Now a regular rotation watch!
Perfect
This watch is a perfect combination of true GMT functionality, no battery replacement Eco-Drive practicality, esthetics, and price. Very pleased.
just not as “special” as I would expect
So I have mixed feelings on this watch. There’s something about it that just looks…. Cheap? Maybe I’m just not used to domed crystal watches is all, I’m not sure. I also wasn’t expecting it to be so thick… it’s not a thin watch even compared to a smart watch. The good things, it does have a screw-down-crown There is Zero reflection from the face The crown feels substantial and has very smooth control of the hands. Very clear and easy to read. I struggled to decide if I liked this watch at first, but the more I wear it the more i liked it. I’m mostly keeping it due to the utilitarian designs, (I needed a screw down crown as I have bent the crown on 2 other citizen watches) and the sapphire crystal is wonderful. I would have preferred a watch without the textured face, and a color option of green would have been fantastic. I would love to see a garrison with a more protected screw-down-crown… that’s what I would have preferred, but this seems fairly close…
Eco-Drive GMT winner
Really liked the dial color and texture, markers are clean and legible while allowing the hands to exist with the yellow GMT hand comfortably. Screw down crown operates smoothly and the bezel shares the space well. Watch wears a bit smaller than the size indicates. The strap is LONG! I trimmed it down as the overhang on my 6.5" wrist was significant.
Pretty cool watch but strap is a bit bland.
This is a pretty cool watch. It's very easy to read and the lume is fantastic. It's a bit tricky to set it and I don't see easy instructions on the webpage but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm not a constant world traveler so it's mostly "set and forget" for me, but if I traveled a lot I'd probably figure out how to easily set it. It's set up so that you set the main dial for the "new" time zone you're in and leave the GMT hand at your "home" time zone. But I rarely travel so I have it set the opposite, which makes it a tad bit trickier to set. My only grip is the price (although you do get a great watch that is very durable and cool-looking) and mostly the bland watch strap it comes with. But I love the curved sapphire crystal (I'm really hard on watches and scratch mineral crystals almost immediately) and the really legible dial, so I would buy it again. I just bought a bunch of aftermarket straps that I can easily swap out to suit my mood. I would definitely buy this watch again.
