The humanoid robot spoke the first line of dialogue—“Did you hear that?”—to R2-D2 in 1977 and appeared in all nine films of the Star Wars ™ saga, cementing his role as a cinema icon. A new watch pays tribute to Threepio with distinctively droid-like details including sub dials that resemble his “eyes” and patterns that evoke his complex circuitry on the striking yellow and black dial that includes luminous hands and markers. The gold-tone stainless steel 42mm case evokes his metal plating, the black leather dials features colourful stitching that echoes the circuit imagery on the dial, and his likeness is etched on the case back. This watch is sustainably powered by any light with Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology and never needs a battery.

My husband loved his Christmas gift this year!
Great watch if you love Star Wars
Very awesome watch got it for Christmas and I love it the gold is clean and even at work I’ve gotten compliments that it’s a nice watch it’s easy to learn to read if you do your research and get used to the CP-30 eyes telling the time and date is a nice added touch although only thing I’ll say it’s a little confusing how to set up the date correctly to weekday and day there’s no instructions in box whatsoever so you’ll have to do research or contact support other than that setting the correct time was simple 10/10 watch would recommend as a gift or to buy for yourself if you are a huge Star Wars fan it’s like cp-30 is calculating the time for you everyday just like in movies it being water proof is a great thing for my work since I buss and work in restaurant business if it gets wet it will be totally fine.
