With a history dating back over a century, Citizen has a large catalog of compelling vintage models worthy of your attention. In the 1990s, Citizen produced a wide variety of colorful, hardy everyday watches with automatic movements, day-date complications, and matching bracelets. Made in a plethora of dial configurations, these comfortable, attractive timepieces make for excellent everyday wrist companions

This particular ref. NH6830-54EK is housed in a polished 34mm stainless steel case with a smooth bezel; an unsigned crown; and an acrylic crystal. Featuring a beautiful, textured black dial, it boasts faceted, applied indices with luminous pips; a luminous gold-tone ‘baton’ handset; a day-date display at 3 o’clock in Arabic and English; and the Citizen Eagle applied logo above 6 o’clock.

Paired to a stainless steel Jubilee-style bracelet with brushed outer links, polished inner links, and a signed fold-over clasp, it features a screw-down caseback inscribed with the watch’s reference and serial numbers. Powered by the Miyota Calibre 8200 movement with 21 jewels and a beat rate of 21,600 vph, it also comes with its original hang tags; furthermore, at just 10mm thick, it can easily slip under a cuff to complement more formal attire.
