This watch is a classic. I replaced my over priced and high maintenance TAG Heuer with this Eco-Drive Garrison and will never look back. High quality, heavy weight, sleek looks and never needs a battery (which btw costs hundreds annually for the TAG).
I’m in love with this watch and purchased it directly from Citizen. I have two minor details I’m not crazy about. The first is that all 3 of my Citizen watches including this one show micro abrasions easily that really show in contrast to the highly polished watch; especially around the bezel. The second criticism is specific to my Garrison AW0050-82E: the illumination on the arms and dial leave a lot to be desired. It’s not very bright and doesn’t seem to retain its glow for very long. I was a little disappointed about this. All in all the best watch I could find in this style for this price and pairs nicely with a leather NATO style watch band.

I bought this watch as a birthday present for my 93 year old father, whose 30-year old Citizen watch had just stopped charging reliably. He lives in another state, but was able to measure his own wrist with a piece of paper. He was also to use the watch right out of the box - it fit perfectly! He even says it's easier to read than the old one (big numbers!). Thank you, Citizen!
Very nice
I chose this model to replace one that was no longer supported. The old watch had been my long time travel watch, and I dearly miss it. But this new one seems quite nice. So far easy to work with and comfortable to wear.
Dependable, Attractive Watch
I purchased my first Citizen watch more than fifteen years ago on a flight from London to Warsaw. I had left my solar on a table to charge it. I have been very pleased with my Citizen watch, but this new one caught my eye. A solar watch is self-evidently convenient as it eliminates the need for a battery. The day/date feature is helpful. Setting the correct values at the end of the 30-day months requires a delicate touch, but is straightforward. I also favor the attractive black dial face, with all digits displayed. I like the inclusion of the 24-hour clock digits. I expect this watch will provide decades of reliable, valued service. The Citizen website provides a tool for wrist measurement, which is helpful. The transaction was safe, easy, and quick. Free delivery was very quick.
1st citizen
I am impressed how nice it looks and fits . I am thinking about getting another one but nicer to wear when I am going out because this will be my everyday watch.
Not my first Citizen watch.
It is a great watch for the money and I appreciate it coming sized already. How could I not like this watch the model is my name. GARRISON BTW. my other watch is 15 years old and is still in perfect condition.
Citizen Eco-Drive
My experience has been awesome. My watch showed up early, the fit is really good just like my first one. The ordering process was seamless and simple. My first Eco-Drive really only needed a crystal,but it's 12 years old and didn't want to put money into a watch that old. Very happy that I can select my band size when ordering online. Where I live you can hardly find anywhere to walk in and purchase a watch and if it doesn't fit, tough luck.

I love my selection, it's classic style with a touch of rugged elegence. I made the mistake of replacing my 1st Citizen with an overpriced "wannabe" and it didn't make it 18 months. Now this is my 2nd Citizen because the 1st one lasted 15 years!
Eco Drive is the way to go
I've owned an Eco Drive by Citizen for the past 13 years with no issues and decided to upgrade to a newer model. The previous watch never lost time and functioned perfectly. I' quite happy with my new watch and look forward to many years service and happiness. I highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for quality performance and longevity.
